Rocks Road House

This three bedroom house is built into a cliff on the Nelson Waterfront and occupies every part of the small site. This was a very challenging design, engineering and building project. Ground anchors hold the ground around the building. Cedar screens create privacy from a busy main road and soften the facade. The clean lines and form of the facade are the feature of this building. Claddings and joinery are chosen with acoustic qualities to eliminate port and road noise.
